The Legal & General UK Property Trust
Legal & General Property is a wholly owned subsidiary of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and is one of the largest institutional property fund managers in the UK with £6.1 billion of funds under management (net asset value as at end of November 2009) across a total of 15 funds. One of these funds is our expertly managed UK Property Trust, which invests in a diverse portfolio of commercial property – having delivered consistently strong performance over the last three years against the benchmark.
- Generally invests in bricks and mortar assets across all sectors and locations of
the UK commercial property market.
- The goal is to provide an attractive yield whilst maximising capital growth through
a range of UK property assets.
- We achieve this via a unique top down and bottom up approach. We create two-thirds of the return via our rigorous property selection process. We then aim to generate one-third of our return via our research driven sector framework.
- The trust is suitable for investors who have a long term investment horizon and
are seeking a combination of growth and income.
